Re:locate Awards 2013/2014

The Re:locate awards are back for another year on Wednesday 14th May 2014 with this year’s theme, ‘Making Mobility Magic’. The prestigious black-tie Gala Awards Dinner will be held at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, in London.

Re:locate’s managing director Fiona Murchie has stated “The quality of this year’s entries – which came from organisations both in the UK and around the world – is truly exceptional. These are shining examples of those from across the relocation spectrum who are rising to opportunities, overcoming challenges and driving through change.” This years judges have clearly got a range of tough decisions ahead of them.

Beginning at 7pm with a champagne reception and live music, the main feature of the night is the award presentations, preceded by a delicious three-course dinner complete with fine wines. Although the awards ceremony will be finished by 11:15pm, the venue will be open until 1am to continue celebrations and networking with some jazz.

The evening will also feature John Simonett, an original and entertaining speaker in demand throughout the UK and overseas. With past careers in psychology, sports, business and even a job as a magician, there is no better speaker to symbolize Re:locate’s themes of engagement, creativity, innovation, motivation and making connections.

The awards this year include four brand new categories – Best Managing or Growing Talent Initiative, Financial Support & Innovation, Immigration Team of the Year and Global Health and Wellness – bringing the total number of awards up to 12, capped by the prestigious Relocation Personality of the Year.

The team left to decide the winners of this year’s awards is a formidable panel of 9, including a variety of entrepreneurs and high ranking global mobility heads at some of the UK and world’s top companies, including John Lewis, Unilever, BP and Marks & Spencer.
